Adrenalin Paintball is currently looking for Senior and Junior Referee’s.
Role of Senior Referee
The Senior Referee is responsible for running the paintball session. Each session goes for approximately 3 hours during which you will set up the marshaling area, meet and greet players, register them to play and collect payment, provide a verbal briefing on how games are played and our 5 key safety rules, run games, and pack up after the session.
To become a Senior Referee you will need to obtain a Qld Category A Firearms Licence, a Blue Card and a Drivers Licence. We will help you to obtain your Firearms licence.
We don’t lock you into set hours and we don’t require you to commit to being available every weekend. Normally we will contact you during the week to see if you are available to run a game on the weekend. About 80% of our games are on a Saturday. We have the occasional Sunday game and week day game.
Role of Junior Referee
There are 2 main roles that the Junior Referee performs.
The Junior Referee assists the Senior Referee to set up and run games.
In addition, the Junior Referee does a clean up of equipment and performs routine maintenance. This is done on a week-day afternoon, normally on a Monday after school, however this can be performed on other weekdays.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people with a strong work ethic who like dealing with people. In both roles there is a lot of interaction with players and a lot of associated fun.
We’re looking for people who plan to stay in Mackay over the next 3-5 years.
We’re looking for people who are available to work on weekends (both Senior and Junior Refs to run games) and on a week day afternoon (Junior Ref to clean equipment and perform maintenance).
